I got my first experience in the stock market when I pursued my MBA in finance at IIT Kharagpur in the year 2011. My quest for knowledge accompanied by good learning abilities made me to co-found a ‘Student driven fund’, aiming to beat the large cap index by doing Equity research analysis.
My learning curve got widened when I got the greatest opportunity of doing my internship at TVS capital, a private equity fund. After clearing entry-level examinations of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA – USA), my passion towards capital markets made me to work at various banks, where I got the nitty gritty of RISK MANAGEMENT.
My investment journey commenced in the year 2011 where I allocated my capital towards equity stocks and mutual funds over a long-term basis, which has been reasonably paid off. But I encountered a set back and almost lost 60% of my capital when I entered into the F&O segment in 2018.
I turned my wounds into wisdom. I realized the importance of ‘Psychology ‘(the non-quantitative) part which is essential to sustain in this business.
As the adage goes, “The greatest glory is not in ‘never failing’, but in rising every time we fail”. I sprinted back my journey again in the year 2019. My new gained wisdom and experience illuminated me and I compounded my capital at the CAGR of 45% in the last five and a half years.
We have developed an algorithmic software, which primarily focuses on risk management, rather than high profits, aims to reduce the Draw-Down with consistent returns.
